Sign UpWe are a New York-based team of genre-bending artists, strategists, and culture makers whose appreciation for the arts and underground cultures brought us together. Each coming from a different artistic practice, we first started as a group of pop-culture nerds with a genuine appreciation for human ingenuity.
We understand the arts as the most effective (and frankly, most fun!) way to learn about this human ability! And so, since we generally like people, at least the odd, and compassionate ones, we figured, might as well share our findings with the rest of the world.
And so that is how Petite Monsieur came about.
Whether analyzing live performances, dissecting films, or simply obsessing over how badly put together a fashion week collection is—yes, we do talk mess sometimes—we mostly do it for the love of storytelling. Like a portal, we see art as an entry point, an introduction to a given time, a place, a people.
From immersing ourselves back in the American funk era to survey afro-futurism, to comparing the 2000s club scenes across the globe, our work is always guided by our search for collective meaning.
As filmmaker-strategists, dancer-project managers, and musician-coders, we believe in the importance of merging both traditional and artistic paths to facilitate the sustainable emergence of global creative economic networks, ones that center, protect, and nurture creativity.
And so we’ve gone to work, bringing our respective knowledge in research, communication, management, coding, and design to create a one-stop boutique creative agency capable of meeting our community’s needs.
